Our Junior Camp Counselor Week is the perfect opportunity for aspiring young leaders to step into a mentorship role while having fun with creative drama! Designed for students who love theater and working with kids, this program allows junior counselors to assist the director in guiding younger campers through imaginative play, storytelling, and creative activities. Participants will take on leadership roles, help foster a fun and supportive environment, and even perform alongside the younger campers in our Talent Showcase at the end of the week. It’s a fantastic way to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills—all while bringing stories to life!

All of the above camps will be in Seminole. The Summer Camp Production Legally Blonde will be held at the Mahaffey Theatre. Sears Studio partners with the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts to produce an exciting production in a professional arena. Please read all the information and follow the instructions for a separate registration coordinated through the foundation. Immerse yourself in the world of technical theater with our two-week Technical Theater Camp, running from 8AM to 4PM daily. This camp is designed for students aged 12-18 who are passionate about the behind-the-scenes magic of theater production. Participants will have the exciting opportunity to crew for our Summer Camp Production of Legally Blonde JR. Throughout the camp, students will work closely with members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IASTE) and other industry professionals. They will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of technical theater, including lighting, sound, set design, and stage management. This is a fantastic way to learn the skills and techniques to becoming a successful "techie."
